1. Cardiac arrhythmias which was observed during 3 years and 4 months from March 173 to August 1975 among 2,676 patients who visited the Department of Pediatrics and whose ECG were taken because of heart disease or suspicious he-art disease were analysed. Simple sinus. arrhythmias and bundle branch blocks were excluded from this study.
2. 186 cases of arrhythmis were seen among the 2,676 cases (7%)
3. The types of arrhythmias in the order of frequency are: A-V block, ectopic beat, atrial fibrillation, paroxysmal tachycardia, AN dissociation, WPW syndrome, chronic atrial tachycardia.
4. The main underlying causes of the sereous cardiac arrhythmias were congenital heart disease, and after open heart ~urgory, rheumatic heart disease, and diphtheritic toxic myoc arditis.
